ZUZANA VÁLKOVÁ

Zuzana Válková is a Prague-based journalist and science communicator, and the creator of Nothing to See Here, a podcast about hybrid warfare in Central Europe. Her past interviews include Steven Pinker, Walter Isaacson, Svetlana Alexievich, Dan Ariely, and Azar Nafisi, alongside many leading voices in research and public life.

 

I have written for most Czech national dailies (Hospodářské novinyDeník NSeznam ZprávyOrientace Lidových novin) and magazines (RespektFinMag, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue CS, Marianne, Heroine). Occasional columnist for Český rozhlas Plus (Czech public radio station) and Salon (Právo daily).

 

I love the mind of Margaret Atwood, Joni Mitchell's soul, and Joan Didion's voice. I am fond of people bold enough to say, "I don't know."
