Prague-based journalist specializing in interviews and communication of research in social sciences and humanities (with occasional trips elsewhere). Formerly a spokesperson for the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and editor of Small Talk magazine, focusing on feature interviews with leading Czech and foreign scientists. Editor at Seznam Médium and co-author of anthropology podcast Co je to za člověka?
I have written for most Czech national dailies (Hospodářské noviny, Deník N, Seznam Zprávy, Orientace Lidových novin, Právo), as well as magazines (Respekt, FinMag, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue CS, Marianne, Heroine). Columnist for Český rozhlas Plus (Czech public radio station). I lead creative writing workshops and media seminars for scientists.
I love the brain of Margaret Atwood, Joni Mitchell's soul, and Joan Didion's voice. I am fond of people bold enough to say, "I don't know."
